The Art of Outreach is a collection of zines and fliers that spotlights small creators in a present DIY scene that may be lesser known, but thrives with the involvement of passionate members. It informs locals about four local spaces in the DIY community of Gainesville that prioritize craft and mutual aid: the Civic Media Center, Repurpose Project, Wormhole Books and Music, and UF School of Art and Art History. ZINE SCENE includes information about these spaces, features hand-drawn elements and risograph printing, and is distributed along with stickers and buttons for readers to show their support for physical media, artists, musicians, activists, and other local creatives.
